I thought I'd best throw this up before I leave on vacation. :)
My friend,
missysedai, is taking part in Blogathon this year to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation. If you have some spare money hanging around, please consider sponsoring her. You can find her sponsor page here.
Blogathon 2009 begins Saturday, July 25th, at 6PDT/8CDT/9EDT/13:00GMT, and ends at the same time on Sunday, July 26th.
She will be blogging over at The Chef's Table during the event, and would appreciate comments to keep her awake and blogging! If you can't donate (and I know money is tight for most of us) this is a great way to take part and help out.
Many thanks!

I've unfriended a number of people this morning, mainly because my f-list is just getting out of hand.
If you were one of the ones I removed from my list, it's not because I hate you, resent you, or feel any ill will towards you. I moved people whose posts I find myself skimming more often than not, who don't have much in common with me, who don't comment often here, or who rarely update their journals.
I tend to add back people on occasion so this doesn't necessarily mean 'goodbye'.
Anyhoo, I'm sure y'all understand!
ETA: I thought I should add, anyone who has been defriended is still more than welcome to comment here, or even email me if you ever want to. I'm not trying to cut off all contact, just clear up my reading material a little.
